We advise our clients on all aspects of labour law, including individual and collective labour law. We are specialized not only in the mainstream areas of employment law (e.g. dismissal and establishment of employment) but also in employment litigation, employee incentives and immigration matters. The excessive experience of our lawyers ensures that we provide high quality solutions in both individual and collective labour law issues. Collective labour law is a special area of labour law – Our lawyers frequently participate in discussions with trade unions and workers’ councils during wage negotiations and strikes, and advise clients on drafting and negotiating collective bargaining agreements. We work worldwide on several international labour law projects with the member firms of Ius Laboris Alliance.
We have carried out due diligence on the HR operations of one of our international clients and implemented the necessary changes. We have drafted several labour contracts, sample contracts and modules for our clients and participated in TUPE and Hungarian labour law projects regarding legal succession.
We have assisted one of our clients in obtaining EU-funded state aid to compensate the employees for the reduced working time. We have also provided assistance to our clients during strikes: as a result of our strategic legal advice the financial and other damages caused by the strikes has been reduced.
The employment law team of CLV Partners provides solutions to the immediate problem as well as longer term strategic advice in the very specific area of employment law; i.e. discrimination. Although it is not a widely accepted field in Hungary so far, we represented clients in this area many times.
